Second Year Residents

Born in Tehran, Iran,  Mahfam is a 1999 graduate of the Hamadan University of Medical Sciences in Iran graduating with honors in clinical clerkships and internship training.   Mahfam enjoys playing santour, dancing, oil painting, and Persian calligraphy.

A registered Yoga Therapist, Hossai is a 1993 graduate of  West Virginia Wesleyan College in Buckhannon, WV earning her B.S. Degree in Biology.  Upon entering West Virginia University in 1997, Hossai was as a surgical resident in General Surgery.   During her third year of residency, she also served as Chief Resident.   Hossai graduated in June 2002 from the Department of Surgery at WVU.  

Ashlee's undergraduate education includes a B.A. degree from West Virginia University in May 2002.  She then went on to earn her medical degree in 2008 from the West Virginia University School of Medicine.  A local girl, Ashlee enjoys athletics and the outdoors.  Other interests include arts, crafts, painting, sculpting and pottery.

Born in Chicago, Illinois, Victor successfully completed all of his undergraduate training including his college degree from Baylor University in Waco, Texas.  Then in the Philippines, he obtained his Doctor in Medicine degree from St. Luke's College of Medicine in April 2002 followed by a rotating internship at St. Luke's Medical Center.    Victor, his wife, and daughter, Victoria currently reside in Bridgeport, WV 

Born and raised in Iran, Sonia is a graduate of Mashad University of Medicine in Iran, currently residing in Pittsburgh with her family.

She is interested in Persian literature, philosophy and psychology, and enjoys poetry, calliraphy and music.
